Del payasón del (Floyd) Mayweather Jr. hablaremos también, pero por ahora nos enfocaremos en la arrogancia maligna esta que se ha apoderado de De la Hoya, misma que lo enferma de poder haciéndole creer que puede enfrentarse a cualquiera. A lo hecho pecho my friends y el hecho del pecho es que delante de Forbes la situación fue rayana en lo frustrante para los miles de seguidores que tiene aún este 'Oscarito'.
Lo más alto en la carrera de Forbes había sido una participación en la serie de televisión real 'The Contenders' en la que ni siquiera ganó. Eso era antes de aguantarle los 12 rounds a una leyenda caminante como De la Hoya, argumento que podrá usar 'Stevie' de ahora en adelante cuando busque más peleas: "Oye, le aguanté 12 rounds a este hombre, eso no lo hace cualquiera", dirá Forbes y con toda la razón. Digo, habrá quien crea que tiene toda la razón. Yo no, yo creo que a DLHoya no le queda nada.
De la Hoya falló en su primera promesa y lo han querido esconder. Los medios han sido sutiles y hasta benévolos con el otrora (remoto, pasado, hace tiempo, ayer, ya no más, pretérito, anteriormente, previamente) gran 'Golden Boy'. Oscar prometió nocaut y no lo cumplió. Se atrevió a decir que si no noqueaba a Forbes sería casi como un fracaso y luego trató de limpiar la que puso aduciendo que había aprendido porque a 'Stevie' nunca lo habían noqueado.
¡Ay por favor Oscar! ¡Ensériate que estás irrespetando a tu misma carrera!
Ahora el plan es medirse a Mayweather el 20 de septiembre entrenado por el papá del rival, o sea Floyd papá entrenará a De la Hoya en Big Bear, California y no en Puerto Rico, etc, etc y entonces luego se montaría la pelea final de la carrera de Oscar de la Hoya contra otro rival entre los que se han mencionado a Cotto y a Margarito.
Súbanle el volumen a esto: ¡JAAAAAAAAAAAA!
Cotto es, a mi criterio, el mejor boxeador del momento. ¡Sí sí sí! ¡Mejor que Mayweather! y si alguien tiene la capacidad de ganarle a Cotto ése es Margarito. O sea, De la Hoya se pone a estas alturas de su ilustrísima, pero ya más de allá que de acá, carrera al nivel de los mejores. A mí no me parece.
Por ahí anda Marco Antonio Barrera pidiendo cacao para retirarse por paupérrima-quinta vez. Lo mismo hizo Erik Morales y otros como el gran Julio César Chávez y Héctor 'Macho' Camacho. Y la razón es que por atrevidos no saben retirarse bien. Una pelea contra Cotto o Margarito no le va a dar a De la Hoya un retiro como el que se merece, punto. Cualquiera de estos dos se gana a De la Hoya y éste quedaría con esa espinita clavada. Con lo empeñado que ha demostrado ser el 'Golden' en sus cosas no se va a quedar quieto y va a volver... "Y volver, volver, volveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeer..".
En fin, para alguien que alguna vez admiró a Oscar de la Hoya, sí sí sí, este mismo Mariano Cauteriz recalcitrante e insoportable que escribe ahora, a mí me parece que ya llegó la hora de ganarle a un buen cualquiera (como Steve Forbes o Alfonso Gómez o un tipo de ese nivel) y celebrar por todo lo alto al lado de las estatuas que le pondrán en varios sitios de Los Angeles.
Por cierto ¿De la Hoya es mexicano o estadounidense? ¡Aaaaah! ¡Cuidadoooo! ¡Tecla álgida! La tocaremos en otro blog...

hola ke tal creo ke dela hoya no tiene nada ke hacer en el boxeo ke ya tiene muchos negicios, y noseprepara como antes no tiene interes y aparte ya su estilo de pelea no sirve ya es muy desifrable a perdido velocidad punch y fuerza y no es ke sea muy viejo ni haya sido tan bueno en sus tiempos, solo ke con los ke peleo en esos tiempos pues ya hiban de salida y ahora no llega al nivel ke se rekiere para pelear con los campeones ke hay vigentes ke pues la mayoria ahora si son jovenes, pero en lo personal me gustaria ke siguiera boxeando hasta toparse con el hijo dela leyenda chavez y ahora si aversi presume. saludos

En lo que respecta a la pelea Cotto vs Margarito; Margarito va a noquear a Cotto, no importan lo que digan y yo no soy mexicano simplemente fanatico del boxeo Cotto es muy bueno y con mucho corazon pero Margarito aguanta mas que Cotto y pega fuerte tambien.Suerte a los dos..pero Margarito lo noquea...
