Aparentemente existe un lugar en el mundo llamado Ave María, localizado en el suroeste del estado de la Florida. Ahí el presidente de la cadena estadounidense Domino's Pizza creó una universidad católica cuyo equipo de baloncesto debería empezar su primera temporada este año.

Pero ahora se jo&#^*ó la cosa.

El dirigente puertorriqueño del equipo, Ricky Benítez, ha sido despedido por, según un comunicado emitido por la universidad, "repetidamente utilizar lenguaje obsceno".

Según comentó al Naples Daily News, Benítez entiende que lo echaron porque un padre de un jugador se quejó de su lenguaje.

Alegadamente los muchachos del equipo han sido advertidos que no hablen con la prensa o ponen en riesgo sus becas. Sin embargo, se dice que todos están en contra de la decisión y muy desanimados.

¡Esto es una p*$!(*&^ada!


La expresión verbal es parte integral del deporte. Esto incluye lo que en otras circunstancias sería lenguaje inadecuado o impropio. Pero dentro del terreno de juego, estas "palabras malas" son algo válido, acostumbrado y a veces hasta necesario. Es mejor lanzar un c$%*!o o car*@%^o de vez en cuando a disparar un puño o un arma.


Claro, la Ave María University es una institución privada y puede tomar las decisiones que quieran, dentro del marco de la ley.

Pero la información divulgada demuestra que realmente no son una institución seria. Por favor, no ¡j*#!dan! ¡Qué ridiculez!
