Margarito desestimó a Mosley

Antonio MargaritoEl Tornado de Tijuana no pasó de un leve vientecillo. Un soplido apenas que nada pudo ante el impulso de Shane Mosley mejor preparado, más concentrado y con más seriedad a la hora de afrontar la pelea. Así se produjo una gran sorpresa, la derrota de Antonio Margarito ante Mosley.

¿Te sorprendió la victoria de Mosley sobre Margarito? ¿Cuál es el futuro ahora de Margarito? Nadie se lo esperaba. Todos los que pensábamos que Margarito arrollaría al "viejo" Mosley nos sentimos como seguramente se sintieron aquellos que se ufanaban con decir que el Titanic no se podía hundir.

Viendo la pelea me quedaron varias sensaciones. En primer lugar, me dio la impresión de que Margarito no fue humilde. No pensó que Mosley sería un rival decente. Por ello, pareció que no se preparó de la misma forma que digamos lo hizo contra el boricua Miguel Cotto.

En segundo lugar, se me pareció mucho esta pelea a la de Manny Pacquiao con Oscar de la Hoya. Mosley fue, al igual que Pacquiao, una máquina de lanzar golpes, un tipo infinitamente superior en velocidad, que golpeó a un totem inamovible, sin respuestas. En eso se parecieron mucho De la Hoya con Margarito.

Y en tercer lugar, que queda claro que en estas cosas del deporte las predicciones son tan certeras como los que pronostican los ciclos económicos y el clima, es decir, no son nada confiables.

Queda por decir, eso sí, que fue una pelea muy animada, un combate con muchos golpes, nada aburrido.
