Freddy Montero estremece a la Major League Soccer
En el partido inicial de la nueva temporada de la MLS, Montero anotó dos goles y generó una asistencia ayudando a que el Seattle Sounders saliera airoso por marcador de 3-0 frente a New York Red Bull.

El talentoso y jóven ex judador del Deportivo Calí derrochó clase marcando dos goles de gran categoria en donde demostró sus grandes dotes para driblear, fintear y más que todo, para definir.
El primer gol fue un preciso disparo bajo, raso de pie derecho que se coló en el costado derecho de la porteria de Red Bull. El segundo gol fue aun más impresionante. Montero se escapa por la banda derecha, hace un amague que neutraliza al arquero y tranquilamente mete un disparo de pie derecho que entra con suavidad por la esquina superior izquierda de la porteria.
Magistral, brillante, preciso e inspirador. Asi se describe la actuación de Montero.
El artillero colombiano de solo 22 años de edad empezó su trayectoria en la MLS como una bala y se perfila como un gran animador no sólo del Seattle Sounders sino de toda la Liga.
Freddy Montero ganó la batalla de delanteros colombianos de la noche del jueves en el Qwest Field de Seattle. Su compatriota, Juan Pablo Angel de Red Bull, no tuvo una buena actuación y fue opacado por su más juvenil compatriota.
Seattle es el dueño del 65% del pase de Montero, el máximo artillero de la Copa Mustang II de 2008. Con la actuación del jueves frente a un estadio lleno con más de 45,000 aficionados, esta practicamente garantizado que Seattle no venderá la carta de Montero a ningun equipo europeo que toque su puerta.
Como dijimos en una columna anterior, para los que vivimos en los Estados Unidos, contar con la presencia de un jugador como Montero por toda esta temporada y muchas más por venir, sería un muy buen regalo para empezar la temporada del 2009 con el pie derecho.

Bueno eso era de esperarse de un hombre como Freddy Montero.. solo espero que si lo vendan a Europa pues el se lo merece, pero miestras que siga dejando bien en alto a nuestro pais. y que luche por sus sueños.. te deseo de corazon lo mejor.
