Margarito finalmente acepta por unos "pesitos" más
Aparentemente, según se reporta, el campeón welter de la AMB, el mexicano Antonio Margarito, ha aceptado enfrentarse a Shane Mosley en Las Vegas el 24 de enero por cantidad de billetes igual por igual, pero con Margarito obteniendo un extra ($$$) proveniente de HBO.

Margarito dice NO a Mosley
con una arrogancia detestable
No es que sea el anterior concepto una cosa privilegiada y que buscan los boxeadores o la gente con desesperación, ¡no! Pero es que estoy seguro que así como pensaba este humilde escritor de blogs, se movían muchos de los que siguen con pasión el boxeo. Margarito merecía la oportunidad de una pelea grande y aprovechó el momento, pero ahora, desde la cúspide, desprecia y hasta subestima la chance de chocar contra un rival de altura.

Oscar de la Hoya le ha dado muchísimo al boxeo. Sus seis títulos en divisiones diferentes son plausibles y, aunque su record y rivales dejen dudas claras, no se niega que ha sido mejor que unos cuantos. Sin embargo, cuando el buen Oscar cae en las mismas artimañas de gente tan baja como Ricardo Mayorga, entonces sí provoca robarle al ladrón.

El entrenador de Pacquiao habla demasiado
Pa' mí que Freddie Roach siempre ha sido un tipo callado. Preparaba a sus boxeadores, hacía bien su trabajo y ya. No buscaba generar controversias.
Pero no sé qué le hizo Oscar De La Hoya cuando trabajaban juntos en Puerto Rico, porque ahora no hay quién calle al cotizado entrenador.

¿Qué pudiera decir el obituario de Evander Holyfield? Es bueno que sus amigos y familiares vayan pensando que escribirle, porque este viejito de 46 años ahora le dio por pelear contra Nikolai Valuev, quien además de tener 11 años menos, mide nada más y nada menos que siete pies y dos pulgadas. Es decir, es un gigante.Holyfield, quien asegura que no está peleando por dinero -a otro con ese cuento-, está buscando que lo masacre este ruso que si bien no tiene mucha técnica, si que pega bastante duro.
