El 'New York Post' no es precisamente el diario más respetuoso o ético del planeta. Es un tabloide sensacionalista y amarillista y se precia de serlo, goza con ello. Como muchos otros, hace lo que sea por vender más ejemplares, aún si lo anterior involucra un atrevimiento que, para algunos, podría resultar ofensivo.

La portada del día de hoy, miércoles 4 de noviembre de 2009, quizás le arranque una risotada a muchos, sobre todo si se trata de aficionados de los Yankees, mientras que posiblemente ofende a otros cuantos, en especial si son dominicanos o seguidores de los Medias Rojas de Boston. En la imagen se ve a Pedro Martínez con la gorra de su equipo de hoy Filis de Filadelfia, con cuerpo de bebé y en pañales y un titular que dice: "Yankees, denle una nalgada a Pedro (Martínez)" además el subtítulo: "El papá le dará a Pedro esta noche".

Alex Rodríguez esperó 16 años para estar en su primera Serie Mundial y el domingo conectó lo que bien podría ser el hit de su vida para ayudar a sus Yankees vencer 7-4 a los Philies y tomar una ventaja de 3-1 en la Serie Mundial.
