El libro "The Yankee Years", escrito por Tom Verducci, con lo que le contó el ex-mánager del Bronx, aparecerá el martes. Pero ya hay un tremendo sainete en este pueblecito que llaman Nueva York. "No sé si me nombra en eso" dijo David, "pero si encuentro mi nombre ahí lo voy a dejar knock out. Además, si violó las reglas del clubhouse, no es más que ('a punk') un pobre diablo". Torre culpa en el libro a los peloteros por los fracasos de los Yankees desde 2000 cuando ganaron la última Serie Mundial. Y especialmente ha atacado a Alex Rodríguez y a Derek Jeter. Al gerente-general Brian Cashman, le reclama que lo abandonó cuando quería re-firmar con la organización.
