Todavía no termina el primer trimestre, y ya se percibe que la evaluación de la serie 'Top Rank Live' que lanzó la empresa Top Rank en alianza con Zanfer Promociones de México, Fox Sports en español y TV Azteca, será verdaderamente gratificante para Bob Arum.
En México, las transmisiones de boxeo cada fin de semana se convierten en una muy buena costumbre, y están atrayendo un mercado nuevo de espectadores de una manera muy rápida. En los Estados Unidos, el llevar boxeo tres sábados de cada mes por Fox Sports, pronto traerá el mismo resultado.
Por el lado de los boxeadores de la empresa Top Rank, es una enorme oportunidad, pues si antes los mantenían en la congeladora por muchos meses antes de que les ofrecieran una pelea, ahora lo que les sobra es trabajo.

Lo anterior obedece a que dos de las peleas de la segunda etapa del Clásico de Boxeo Mundial de los Súper Seis, estaban programadas precisamente para esa fecha, y ahora con el anuncio de transmisión que ha armado HBO para la serie World Championship Boxing, seguro Showtime se puso a templar.Como escapatoria, Showtime tomó la decisión de mover su cartelera para el 24 de abril. Es decir, una semana más tarde, como medida para que el espectador no tenga que elegir qué evento debería ver. Ya que ambos son de tal trascendencia que crearía un verdadero conflicto de intereses en todos nosotros.
No olvides sintonizar el primer episodio de la serie "Pacquiao/Cotto 24/7" el sábado, 24 de octubre a las 10:15 PM Este/Pacífico. Es la mirada más cercana a la preparación de estas dos estrellas del boxeo rumbo a su choque.
