El próximo lunes saldrá el libro de la columnista Selena Roberts acerca de Alex Rodríguez y lo que le viene a A-Rod no es nada fácil. Fue la periodista la que dejó colar la bomba de que el jugador de los Yankees de Nueva York usó esteroides. Obligado, A-Rod tuvo que decir la verdad, mejor dicho, "su verdad".Ahora Roberts volvió a la carga. La Serie del Caribe y del Pacífico es un enorme problema, por lo que no se salvará con recursos pequeños. Vamos a los grandes. A una idea que garantizaría Seríe del Caribe, por lo menos dos juegos, todos los años en cada uno de los cuatro países. E ingresos muy superiores a los de hoy por radio, televisión y boletos.
Recorten los campeonatos de invierno una semana y exíganle a Major League Baseball una semana más allá del actual límite para actividad invernal, o sea, hasta el 15 de febrero. Ya tenemos 14 días adicionales más los siete de hoy día. Según pitágoras y mi calculadora, el total es de 21.
El proyecto es jugar dos series eliminatorias a cuatro ganados en siete juegos.
